Castles of Munster: Tullovin, Limerick
R5338 | taken 15 years ago, Wednesday, 30 September, 2009 | by Mike Searle
Apparently this was intended at the time of building to be merely the end wall of a tower that was never built. There is a fine horizontally positioned Sheela-na-gig on the SE corner. In the early C17 it passed from the Leos to the Parsons family. Privately owned, Tullovin is located to the SE of Croom.
